"Give me Father, a purpose deep,
In joy or sorrow Thy word to keep;
Faithful and true what e’er the strife,
Pleasing Thee in my daily life;

Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last."

Walk With Jesus

A recent life event had me evaluate my walk as a follower of Christ. Disappointing as it may sound, I realized the time I wasted selfishly loving only myself by letting those around me live their life without Jesus. As I seek to discover how the Lord wants His love to be made known to others, I am exploring avenues to reach the lost for the Lord and one of them is through writing, hence chariseleos.

Each note, devotion, and excerpt is fully dependent on where God is leading me in a particular season of my life. I consider every ink of instruction, rebuke, challenge, guidance, comfort, a treasure that God lays in my heart through His word. This is not to take over your personal quiet time with the Lord. I believe not a single circumstance is the exactly same with every person and so God deals with each of us differently. However, our faith walk can coincide in some chapters and God can use others to shed light to our past, edify us in our present, and give us hope for the future. All these so we can see God's beauty, power and majesty and bring the highest glory and praise that belongs to Him and Him alone!
